Ulster Performing Arts Center, Kingston’s venerable 1927 concert hall, is owned by Poughkeepsie’s Bardavon Opera House and books big name touring musicians, comedians and performance groups. It seats 1500+ but doesn’t have any nosebleed seats and the hall was built for sound, so it’s a good place to see bigger acts locally. They also sometimes co-promote (Dylan at the Hutton Brickyards for example).
