The Ashokan Center is an outdoor education, conference, and retreat center. Its bucolic 385-acre campus features a number of historically significant structures plus fields, forests, trails and streams. In addition to educational programs, its large, rustic buildings house events like the Winter Hoot and Ashokan Music and Dance Camps. Outdoor festivals like the Summer Hoot and ukulele fests happen in the warm weather. It’s a woodsy getaway that feels like a mini-vacation, a 20 minute drive from Woodstock.
