The Station became a Woodstock mainstay the day it opened. It’s housed in an antique train station, filled with weird, quirky stuff, excellent libations from local microbreweries and distilleries, and run by the nicest folks you’ll ever meet. They have great live music, both inside and on the funky patio, under the stern gaze of 1920’s bathing beauties (check out the mural – everyone has their favorite). Plus they serve killer grilled cheese sandwiches, made by a CIA-trained chef in a tiny corner of the bar. Do not miss this place.
